Purnia: The National Democratic Alliance has launched an extensive campaign drive in Bihar as Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares to visit Purnia on September 15 to inaugurate the airport and flag off the Vande Bharat train.
The NDA campaign chariot was flagged off from RN Sah Chowk in Purnia, bringing together leaders from BJP, JD(U), HAM, LJPR, and RLM along with thousands of party workers. Invitations have been distributed to lakhs of residents in the Purnia Sadar constituency to attend the public meeting at Shashibari ground following the inauguration.
Party leaders emphasised the significance of this campaign drive, aiming to consolidate support in the Kosi-Seemanchal region ahead of the elections. After inaugurating the airport, Modi will travel by helicopter from Chunapur Air Force Station to Shashibari to address the gathering.
Traffic authorities have set up multiple routes and parking arrangements at 16 to 17 key locations, including Kasba, Dagrua, Gulabbag, Sheeshabari Chowk, and Zeromile, ensuring smooth movement for the VIP visit. The NDA’s campaign drive underscores the alliance’s strategy to mobilise large crowds and strengthen its outreach in the crucial constituencies.
