Patna: Tension continued outside a coaching centre in Patna’s Musallahpur Hat area as students gathered on Friday amid an ongoing police investigation into a June 2 night incident linked to alleged firing and subsequent clashes.
Police have registered an FIR naming Faisal Khan, two personal security guards and unidentified associates in connection with the case linked to Khan Global Studies Coaching Centre. The matter is being investigated by local police teams, who have also arrested the two security guards.
Students Gather Outside Coaching Centre
Students were seen outside the coaching centre despite repeated police visits asking crowds to disperse. Officers were deployed through the night as the situation remained tense in the surrounding area.
Some students said they were facing inconvenience due to uncertainty over classes and examinations. They also urged that the matter be resolved peacefully, citing concerns about disruptions for those who have travelled from outside Patna to study.
Police sources said students were advised to avoid gathering in large numbers following repeated congregation in the area over the past two days.
FIR and Arrests in Related Case
According to police, the case stems from a June 2 incident reported outside Khan Global Studies Coaching Centre located in the Kadamkuan police station area.
Earlier in the case, Roshan Anand and two associates were arrested in connection with alleged violence and related disturbances. Police have also sent two security guards of the coaching institute to jail following their arrest.
Officials said both guards allegedly used licensed weapons during the incident, and forensic and video evidence are being examined as part of the investigation.
Allegations Under Investigation
Police claim that during the June 2 incident, a group gathered outside the coaching centre following an altercation, leading to a confrontation. The guards have alleged that they acted after a crowd became aggressive, while investigators are verifying statements and viral video footage.
Authorities have stated that all aspects of the case, including eyewitness accounts, recovered weapons and licensing details, are under review.

She said strict action would be taken against anyone found disturbing public order or acting on unverified information.
Police presence continues in the area to maintain order, although officials said crowd movement reduced following the advisory issued on Friday.
