Patna: The Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM), a key partner in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), has officially declared candidates for all six of the seats it secured in the recent seat-sharing agreement for the Bihar Assembly elections. National President Upendra Kushwaha released the second and final list via a social media post, confirming the party’s full slate of contenders.

The two new names announced today complete the RLM’s roster:
- Rameshwar Kumar Mahato will contest from the Bajpatti Assembly seat in Sitamarhi district. Mahato brings significant experience to the race, having previously served as a member of the Bihar Legislative Council.
- Madan Chaudhary has been nominated from the Paru Assembly seat in Muzaffarpur.
The announcement also sheds light on the complex internal negotiations within the NDA. It was noted that RLM chief Kushwaha had initially sought the Mahua seat in Vaishali district, but that constituency was ultimately allocated to Chirag Paswan’s LJP (Ram Vilas), leading the RLM to secure the Paru seat instead.

The final two nominations join the four candidates declared in the RLM’s first list, ensuring the party is fully prepared to launch its campaign across the six allocated constituencies.
The candidates announced earlier were:
- Madhav Anand from the Madhubani assembly seat.
- Prashant Kumar Pankaj from the Ujiarpur seat in Samastipur.
- Alok Kumar Singh from the Dinara seat in Rohtas.
- Snehlata from the Sasaram seat.
Notably, Snehlata, the candidate for the Sasaram assembly seat, is the wife of party chief Upendra Kushwaha, underscoring the high-stakes nature of the contest for the RLM leadership.
