Patna: Former Bihar minister and RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav has raised serious concerns about his personal security, claiming that a conspiracy is being hatched to kill him.
Tej Pratap alleged that suspicious people have been moving around his residence at night and that some individuals have also been following his vehicle. He said the situation has raised serious concerns about his safety and demanded strict action against those responsible.
According to Tej Pratap, he currently has only one security personnel assigned to him. He questioned whether such security arrangements are sufficient given the alleged incidents taking place around his residence and during his movements.
‘Suspicious People Are Following My Car’
Tej Pratap Yadav alleged that suspicious individuals are frequently seen outside his residence and that his vehicle is being followed.
He claimed that these incidents are happening repeatedly and expressed apprehension that they could be part of a larger conspiracy against him.
Tej Pratap said that the authorities should investigate the matter and identify the people allegedly monitoring his movements. He also demanded strict action against anyone found to be involved.
Tej Pratap Claims There Is a Threat to His Life
Tej Pratap further alleged that efforts may be underway to target him. He said the repeated presence of suspicious individuals and vehicles around him cannot be ignored.
He urged the authorities to take the allegations seriously and strengthen his security arrangements.
The claims made by Tej Pratap have not, however, been independently verified.
Questions Raised Over Bihar’s Liquor Ban
Apart from his security concerns, Tej Pratap Yadav also questioned the implementation of Bihar’s prohibition policy.
Referring to a recent incident, he alleged that a person was consuming alcohol outside his residence and was involved in the home delivery of liquor.
Tej Pratap said that he personally caught the alleged individual and subsequently informed the police.

According to Tej Pratap, after he caught the person, the police were informed and reached the spot.
He alleged that the incident exposed questions about the implementation of liquor prohibition in the state. His remarks come amid the ongoing political debate over the effectiveness of Bihar’s prohibition policy.
Demands Strict Action
Tej Pratap Yadav reiterated that the people allegedly involved in following his vehicle or monitoring his residence should be identified and dealt with strictly.
He also called for his security cover to be reviewed and strengthened in view of the alleged threat.
