Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader Tejashwi Yadav and Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) chief Mukesh Sahni returned to Patna from Delhi, indicating that the much-anticipated seat-sharing arrangement within the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) will be announced shortly.
Speaking to reporters at Patna airport, Yadav said, “Everything is fine within the Grand Alliance. We will announce the full seat-sharing tomorrow or the day after.” He added that the names of candidates would also be revealed soon.
When asked about the reported unrest within the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the former deputy chief minister declined to comment, saying only, “After November 14, Bihar will develop, and everyone will get everything.”
Yadav reaffirmed his confidence in the alliance’s unity, dismissing any suggestion of discord among its partners. His remarks came amid ongoing speculation about differences between the Congress and RJD over seat allocations.
With the state gearing up for elections, the Grand Alliance is expected to present a united front as it prepares to take on the NDA in what promises to be a closely watched contest.
