India May Launch Strike Within 24–36 Hours, Claims Pakistan in 2am Emergency Briefing

New Delhi: Pakistan’s Information Minister, Attaullah Tarar, announced late Tuesday night that the country has received credible intelligence indicating India may launch a military strike within the next 24 to 36 hours. This warning comes in the wake of the Pahalgam attack in Indian-administered Kashmir, which killed 26 people, mostly tourists.

Addressing media at 2am in the night, Tarar accused India of planning military action based on false allegations and rejected any claims of Pakistani involvement in the attack. He stated that Pakistan would respond decisively to any aggression and criticized India’s approach as dangerous and irresponsible.

Pakistan’s Defence Minister, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, echoed these concerns, stating that a military incursion by India appeared imminent. He emphasized that Pakistan would consider the use of nuclear weapons only if there was a direct threat to its existence.

The Pahalgam attack has significantly heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, leading to diplomatic fallout, including India’s suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty and Pakistan’s closure of its airspace to Indian airlines.
