Patna: The Trophy Gaurav Yatra for the Hero Asia Cup 2025 made its way through Vaishali and Bhojpur on monday, drawing large crowds and enthusiastic celebrations. The tour, launched by Bihar’s chief minister Nitish Kumar on sunday, aims to spread hockey fever ahead of the international tournament, which will be held in Rajgir from August 29 to September 7.
In Vaishali, the yatra was welcomed at NN College Singhara Mahua, where officials, players and local residents garlanded the trophy and chanted slogans of “Khel ke Rang Bihar ke Sang.” District officials and sports representatives joined the celebrations, highlighting the importance of promoting hockey and encouraging youth participation.
