Patna: Patna Women’s College, in collaboration with BECIL, organised an awareness session on industry-certified courses on September 15, 2025, aimed at equipping students with future-ready skills and bridging the gap between academics and industry.
The Placement and Career Counselling Cell hosted the event, which featured Pramod Kumar, senior manager at BECIL, as the resource person. He highlighted the importance of industry-relevant, skill-based training designed to prepare students for placement opportunities through hands-on learning and real-world applications.
First-year students from BCA, Data Science, and AI & ML programmes attended the session, gaining insights into emerging technologies and industry-ready career pathways.
The event was conducted under the guidance of Alok John, dean of National and International Collaborations and Consultancy Services, and Sumeet Ranjan, assistant professor in the Department of Zoology. It was moderated by Soumya Vartika, joint general secretary of the Student Council 2025–26, and concluded with a vote of thanks from Rajnandini Singh, cultural secretary of the Student Council 2025–26.
