In addition to the civic body’s official portal, residents are making payments through UPI-based platforms such as Paytm, BHIM and Google Pay.
The corporation has also continued offline payment facilities through cheques, demand drafts and cash deposits at zonal offices and the PMC headquarters.
PMC Extends Counter Timings
Last year, between April 1 and May 7, the corporation had collected approximately Rs 13 crore from around 47,000 holdings.
Officials said extended counter timings had been introduced this year to encourage more taxpayers to avail the concession scheme.
PMC counters are currently operating daily from 9am to 7pm.
The civic body has also begun sending SMS reminders to major defaulters, urging them to clear dues on time and take advantage of the rebate facility.
