The initiative will be implemented in Patna, Gayaji and Sitamarhi, following approval from Additional Chief Secretary K Senthil Kumar, according to an official press statement.
MoU Signed in Presence of Officials

Senior departmental officials, including Additional Labour Commissioner Vijay Kumar and Joint Labour Commissioner Rajesh Kumar, were present during the signing ceremony.
Residential Training for 100 Children
Under the arrangement, residential facilities will be developed for 100 rescued children and adolescents across the three districts.
Officials said the centres will focus on ensuring holistic development through academic support, subject-specific learning and foundational education to help children reintegrate into mainstream schooling.
Focus on Education and Skill Development
The programme also includes vocational training components aimed at preparing children for employment-oriented skills.
Authorities said the initiative seeks to build self-reliance, confidence and long-term rehabilitation pathways for children withdrawn from labour.
Reintegration Into Society
After completing training, children will be enrolled in nearby schools and handed over to guardians for reintegration into normal family and social environments.
The department described the initiative as a structured step towards eliminating child labour while strengthening access to education, protection and rehabilitation services across the state.
