Patna: Bihar is experiencing unpredictable weather, with cool mornings and evenings giving way to hot afternoons, according to the Meteorological Centre in Patna. The state is expected to remain dry over the next five days, with little relief in temperature fluctuations.
The southwest monsoon has now departed from the country, leaving westerly winds to influence the region’s climate. These winds are causing the early and late-day chill, while daytime temperatures continue to rise under clear skies.
On Thursday, maximum temperatures climbed in 23 districts, including Patna, where the mercury reached 32.2°C. Motihari recorded the highest temperature in the state at 34.5°C, while several other districts experienced slight drops in daytime temperatures.
