Kozhikode (Kerala): The results of the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025, India’s most competitive entrance examination for management education, were declared on Tuesday by the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode.
According to official data, 26 candidates scored an exceptional 99.9th percentile, placing them among the highest achievers nationwide. An equal number of candidates also secured 99.8 percentile, highlighting the intense competition at the top end of the merit list.
Gender-wise data shows a clear imbalance among the highest scorers. Of the 26 candidates who achieved 99.9 percentile, 21 were men, and five were women, reflecting a continued gender gap at the very top of the rankings, even as female participation in the exam remains significant.
The CAT 2025 examination saw registrations from approximately 2.95 lakh candidates, including 1.85 lakh men, 1.10 lakh women, and nine transgender candidates, indicating broad participation across genders.
Candidates can access their scorecards through the official CAT website by logging in with their registered user ID and password. The results will now be used by Indian Institutes of Management and other leading business schools as part of their shortlisting process for postgraduate management programmes for the 2026 academic session.
