Patna: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has launched the sample papers and question patterns for the upcoming Class 10 board examinations. The announcement provides students with a clear outline of the papers, including Mathematics, English, and Social Science.
In Mathematics, students can expect a total of 38 questions, structured across five parts. The English paper will feature 80 questions. The questions are broadly divided into three categories—A, B, and C—with Section A comprising 20 questions.
CBSE City Coordinator AC Jha emphasised that in Social Science, students will be required to answer all 38 questions, carrying a total of 80 marks. The paper will include 20 multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions with a 40-word limit, and case-based questions worth four marks each.
“Answering all questions is compulsory,” Jha added, noting that the structure is designed to assess students’ comprehensive understanding of the subjects.
