Patna : Gold prices in Patna remained firm on Saturday, with 24-karat gold priced at Rs 9,443 per gram. The rate for 22-karat gold was around Rs 8,659 per gram, while 18-karat gold stood at Rs 7,082 per gram.
This price stability comes amid ongoing geopolitical concerns and consistent global demand, factors that continue to support gold as a reliable investment. Patna, a key gold market in eastern India, has seen steady interest from buyers, particularly with the wedding season underway.
Local jewelers confirmed growing footfall, with many customers making early bookings. “Demand is picking up as people are locking in rates before any further rise,” said a leading jeweler from the Kankarbagh area.
The June 2025 gold futures contract closed at Rs 92,637 per 10 grams, reflecting cautious optimism among investors. Experts advise closely monitoring market trends, as fluctuations in the global market, currency rates, and local taxes can significantly impact retail prices.
