Bodh Gaya: The Indian Institute of Management Bodh Gaya has entered into a strategic partnership with Automation Anywhere to advance education and research in artificial intelligence and automation, as management institutes increasingly seek closer ties with industry.
The memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed on Monday, January 19, in the presence of Vinita S Sahay, director of IIM Bodh Gaya, and Devan Deshpande, principal product manager at Automation Anywhere. Also present were B G Nagaraja, academic alliance manager at Automation Anywhere, and Charu Naithani, chairperson of the institute’s IT committee.
Under the agreement, Automation Anywhere will provide IIM Bodh Gaya students with access to its software-as-a-service automation platform for learning and academic research. The partnership also includes opportunities for students to pursue industry-recognised process automation certifications.
Institute officials said automation technologies would be embedded into existing courses, while the company would support the development of new AI-focused sessions and modules. The collaboration is intended to expose students to real-world business applications of automation, drawing on Automation Anywhere’s global customer base and professional expertise.
Following the signing, Automation Anywhere conducted an interactive session on agentic process automation for first-year MBA students as part of its corporate social responsibility programme. Faculty members and company representatives also discussed the joint development of future courses, with an emphasis on practical, technology-driven management education.
IIM Bodh Gaya said the partnership reflected its broader effort to prepare students for technology-led business environments by combining academic learning with direct industry engagement in emerging digital domains.
