Gaya: Union Minister for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Jayant Chaudhary on Thursday held a press conference at the NDA candidate’s election office in Gaya, expressing confidence in the alliance’s prospects in the Bihar Assembly elections.
Chaudhary claimed that early signs from the first phase of voting indicate strong public support for the NDA, reflecting trust in the state’s development trajectory. “Years of rule have left Bihar backward,” he said, critiquing opposition parties for what he described as decades of neglect.
The minister highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and the central government’s initiatives, including the Skill Development Mission, Startup India, Make in India, and the Pradhan Mantri Rojgar Yojana, arguing that these schemes have opened up new opportunities for Bihar’s youth. “The NDA government has worked for the upliftment of every section of society, including farmers, youth, women, and businessmen,” he added.
Chaudhary pointed to progress in education, health, employment, and infrastructure, citing improvements in roads, electricity, water supply, and employment opportunities across the state, including Gaya. He appealed to voters to give the NDA another term to continue the momentum of development.
