From the moment he stepped out of Patna Airport, party workers welcomed him with drums, flower garlands and loud slogans. A Bhojpuri song, “Jodi Nitish–Modi Ke Hit Ho Gail”, was played during the welcome, adding a musical and celebratory touch to the political event. Supporters waved saffron scarves and flags, turning the airport area into a colourful scene filled with excitement and pride.
The enthusiasm continued as Nitin Nabin moved from the airport towards the city. Large welcome posters and banners were displayed at many important places in Patna. A huge bike rally was organised by BJP workers, in which hundreds of people participated. The roads were filled with supporters chanting slogans and carrying saffron flags. People stood along the route to see the new national president, while the sound of drums and songs created an atmosphere similar to a festival.
The main programme was held at Bapu Auditorium, where the BJP organised a grand felicitation ceremony in honour of Nitin Nabin.
