Patna: The campus of Birla Institute of Technology, Patna witnessed a high-energy finale on Sunday as Technika 2026, its annual techno-cultural festival, concluded after three days of competitions, performances and celebrations.
The festival opened with two days of technical, managerial and cultural contests that drew participation from students across disciplines. Events such as CAD modelling, Robo Race (dirt race), Tall Tower, Aerofilia, Motion-E-Magic, Capture the Unseen, Startup Sphere, Vaad-Vivaad (debate) and street dance tested both technical skill and creative expression, setting a competitive tone for the event.

Day three marked the culmination of the festival, with the announcement of results from all competitions held over the previous days. The valedictory ceremony, held in the institute auditorium, saw winners felicitated for their performance and innovation, while organisers highlighted the collaborative effort behind the event.
A key moment of the ceremony was the felicitation of the Technika 2026 core team, whose planning and coordination were credited with delivering the festival smoothly. The acknowledgement drew a strong response from students and faculty, reflecting the central role of student leadership in the event.
As evening fell, attention shifted to the BIT grounds for Pronite, the festival’s closing night concert. Singer Mohammad Irfan took to the stage, performing popular tracks and engaging with the audience. The concert drew large crowds, with students singing along and turning the grounds into a late-night celebration of music.

Organisers said Technika 2026 was conceived not only as a festival but as a platform for innovation, teamwork and cultural exchange. By combining competitive events with public performances and recognition of effort, they said, the festival reflected the broader spirit of campus life.
