Nawada: Before the second phase of voting in Bihar, Janshakti Janata Dal (JD) national president Tej Pratap Yadav brought back memories of his father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, while addressing an election rally on Friday. The rally was held at Jarra Baba Maidan, where a large number of villagers gathered to hear him speak. Tej Pratap Yadav arrived by helicopter, waving to the crowd before stepping onto the stage. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as people cheered to see Lalu’s elder son in their midst.
While speaking at the rally, Tej Pratap Yadav recalled his father’s advice that whenever a person feels abandoned or troubled, they should turn to the people for support and justice. “In a democracy, the public is supreme,” he said, adding that it is the people’s voice that decides the fate of leaders and governments. His words drew applause from the crowd, many of whom were long-time supporters of Lalu Prasad Yadav and his political ideals.
Tej Pratap urged the people to vote for Janshakti Janata Dal candidate and sitting MLA Prakash Veer, who is contesting from the Rajauli constituency. He appealed to the voters to ensure Veer’s victory, saying that their votes would help strengthen the voice of the people. The villagers listened attentively and responded with enthusiasm, showing their continued trust in the Yadav family’s leadership and legacy.
The event was smoothly conducted by PACS President Jagdev Yadav and MLA representative Mithilesh Yadav. Several local leaders and villagers attended the rally, including Rajesh Chaudhary, Bhola Chaudhary, Sanjay Yadav, Ramashish Kumar, Vijay Yadav, Jaikaran Yadav, Alakhdev Yadav, Madan Pandey Amawan, Vijay Yadav, Jairam Yadav, Umesh Yadav, Kapil Yadav, and Binod Yadav from Sonpura. Their presence reflected the growing local support for the party ahead of the next phase of the election.
