Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and Bihar’s Leader of the Opposition, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the central government on the final day of election campaigning, accusing them of failing to address key issues concerning the state.
Speaking to media, Yadav said the atmosphere in Bihar was “very good” and that the people were ready to vote for change on November 11. “Be it the Prime Minister or any other minister, no one is speaking about the 65% increased reservation in Bihar,” he said. “The central government should give an account of the last 11 years—how much was given to Gujarat and how much to Bihar. They have eaten up the 65% increased reservation.”
Yadav also alleged irregularities in the electoral process, questioning the Election Commission’s role. “The Election Commission is responsible for all the VVPAT slips that have been found. How did they come out? CCTV camera footage is being deleted. Our party has tweeted about this incident,” he claimed, demanding an investigation.
Concluding his remarks, the RJD leader said, “Let them try to steal votes—the people are giving all their votes to us.”
