New Play School Opens in Hajipur’s Railway Colony to Boost Early Learning

Hajipur: The East Central Railway Women’s Welfare Organisation has inaugurated a new kindergarten and play school at the Railway Colony in Konharaghat, Hajipur. The Little Angels Kindergarten and Play School was formally opened on Monday by the organisation’s president, Sunita Singh.

Equipped with a range of play materials, the school aims to provide a nurturing environment for young children. To encourage early enrolment, each child will receive a school bag and a colour set free of cost at the time of admission. Additionally, a two-month fee waiver has been announced for children who enrol by April 2025.

Speaking at the inauguration, Singh emphasised the organisation’s commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere for children’s educational and overall development. The event also included a Saraswati Puja ceremony.

The inauguration was attended by the organisation’s vice president, Ranjana Kumar, secretary Meenakshi Kumar, treasurer Archana Choudhary, and school committee members Sujata Pandey and Mili Kumari. Joint secretary Priyanka Singh, along with other members of the organisation, was also present.
