Bodh Gaya: In the midst of the world-famous Pitru Paksha fair, Bageshwar Baba will return to Bodh Gaya from September 10 to 16. The spiritual leader is expected to perform key rituals, including Pitru Tarpan, Tripindi Shraddha Pinddaan, and Ekadasha Bhagwat, directly from his accommodation.
During his visit, he will also take time to reach Vishnu Pada and Phalgu Pindvedi, sacred sites in the area. Thousands of devotees are anticipated to accompany him and participate in the rituals.
Bageshwar Baba has visited Gaya in 2023 and 2024, making this his third consecutive visit. His close associates have coordinated with local priests to ensure the arrangements are in place for the devotees.
According to local tradition, Bageshwar Baba’s ancestors have historically performed Pind Daan in Gayaji, with records indicating his grandfather visited in Fasli Samvat 1398, which corresponds to 1988 in the Gregorian calendar. This visit continues the long-standing connection of his family with the region’s spiritual practices.
The week-long stay promises to draw significant crowds, reflecting the growing popularity of Bageshwar Baba both nationally and internationally. Devotees and locals alike are preparing to participate in the rituals and witness the spiritual proceedings.
