Patna: IIT Patna is ready to host the seventh edition of its TEDx event on 14 September 2025. The event, called TEDxIITPatna 7.0, will bring together speakers and performers from across the country. This year, the theme is Kaleidoscopic Interludes, which focuses on the small and often unnoticed moments that can completely change a person’s life. The organisers say it is about looking beyond big dramatic changes and paying attention to the quiet moments that shape who we are.
The idea is to help people reflect on those times when a small choice, a moment of silence, or a sudden realisation has a lasting impact. These moments may seem ordinary but are often the ones that influence our lives the most. TEDxIITPatna 7.0 hopes to encourage the audience to think deeply about such experiences and see how they play a role in shaping identity and meaning.
The event will feature eight speakers from different fields. Among them is Chirag Arya, co-founder of 169Pi and one of Forbes India’s 30 Under 30 in AI, who will share how technology can create real social change. Architect and artist Lakshmi Mohanbabu will talk about her projects that connect art, science, and engineering, even reaching into space. Actor and musician Plabita Borthakur will speak about identity and culture, while Sachin Rai, an award-winning wildlife photographer, will share stories from his two decades of work capturing rare species and promoting conservation.
Other speakers include Dr Asif Ekbal, a professor and leading researcher in AI and natural language processing at IIT Patna; actor Anshumaan Pushkar, known for powerful roles in shows like Jamtara and Grahan; and Dr Ramachandra Budihal, a technologist blending robotics, AI, and culture. The event will end with a performance by Naveen Kumar, a celebrated flautist known for his work with top Indian composers and memorable film scores.
TEDxIITPatna 7.0 promises to be more than just a series of talks. It aims to be a day of fresh ideas, meaningful stories, and inspiration that will stay with the audience long after the event ends.
