Patna: As the Bihar Assembly election campaign gains momentum, senior leaders of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) are set to fan out across the state to bolster support. BJP national president JP Nadda will visit Bihar on Thursday to launch his first series of rallies for the election season.
According to party officials, Nadda will address public meetings in Goh (Aurangabad) and Patepur (Vaishali) on October 23. His first rally will take place at the Haspura High School ground in Goh, followed by another at the Patepur High School ground. The BJP chief is also expected to review the party’s election preparations with state leaders and emphasise the NDA government’s achievements at both the Centre and in Bihar.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive a day later, on October 24, to address rallies in Siwan and Buxar. His visit will coincide with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign launch from Karpoori Thakur’s birthplace, Samastipur, with another rally planned in Begusarai. Sources indicate that PM Modi will return to Bihar on October 30 to hold public meetings in Muzaffarpur and Chhapra.
Meanwhile, LJP (Ram Vilas) leader Chirag Paswan will conduct his own set of rallies, starting with Saharsa, followed by events in Muzaffarpur, Siwan, and Gopalganj.
