Patna: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar will begin the third phase of his Samriddhi Yatra on March 10, visiting multiple districts across the Seemanchal and Kosi regions to review the progress of development projects and government schemes.
The five-day tour, scheduled to run until March 14, will involve inspections of ongoing infrastructure and welfare initiatives, meetings with district officials and the inauguration or foundation-laying of several new projects.
According to the route plan, he will start the tour on March 10 with visits to the districts of Supaul and Madhepura, where he is expected to review development work and hold meetings with local administrators.
On March 11, the chief minister will travel to Araria and Kishanganj to assess the implementation of government schemes and may announce new initiatives during his visit.
The tour will continue on March 12 with programmes in Purnia and Katihar, where he is scheduled to inspect development projects and interact with residents.
On March 13, he will visit Saharsa and Khagaria to review the progress of state welfare schemes and issue directions to officials.
The final day of the third phase, March 14, will see the chief minister travel to Begusarai and Sheikhpura before returning to Patna.
He launched the Samriddhi Yatra on January 16 this year as part of an outreach and review initiative aimed at assessing the status of development schemes across Bihar and announcing new projects during district visits.
