The reason? The poster prominently features Nishant Kumar, the son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, for the first time in such a public display.
The posters, put up by JD (U) workers in Patna, have fueled speculation about Nishant Kumar’s potential entry into state politics. JD (U) leaders have increasingly urged Nitish Kumar to introduce his son to the political arena, though Nishant himself has remained silent on the matter.

The posters, reportedly installed by JD (U) workers E Ajay, Dr Prakash, and Puneel Kumar, feature a large image of Nitish Kumar alongside JD (U) national secretary Sanjay Kumar, with Nishant Kumar’s picture placed centrally. The move is being interpreted as a signal of Nishant’s growing presence in political discussions.
While there has been no official confirmation, speculation is rife that Nishant may formally join JD (U) after Holi. The posters, now visible across Patna, have intensified discussions about whether the chief minister’s son will make his political debut in the coming months.
