Security and Residence Dispute in Patna
In Patna, tensions escalated after Rabri Devi reportedly sent back security personnel stationed at her residence following changes in her security cover. The move was described by RJD members as a symbolic protest.
Separately, Rabri Devi has also received a notice to vacate the government-allotted residence at 10 Circular Road, adding to the political friction.
Political Reactions and Allegations
The RJD has criticised the state government’s decisions on security reduction, alleging political motivation behind the move. Rohini Acharya also raised concerns on social media, claiming the decision could endanger family members, while stating that the people of Bihar remain their strongest support base.
The government, however, has not issued a detailed public response on the allegations. The developments have further sharpened the political divide between the ruling side and the opposition in Bihar.
