Patna: Bihar Energy Secretary and Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Bihar State Power Holding Company Limited Ajay Yadav reviewed electricity-related works in the Sasaram division on Sunday, focusing on revenue collection, ongoing projects, transmission and maintenance, and the quality of power supply.
The review meeting was held at the conference hall in Pusauli, Bhabua, where officials briefed the Energy Secretary on the progress of various projects and pending works.
Officials directed to improve revenue collection and power supply
Ajay Yadav directed officials to complete pending works within the निर्धारित timelines and accelerate the implementation of ongoing projects. He also stressed regular maintenance of electrical infrastructure and improvement in revenue collection.
Officials were instructed to ensure uninterrupted and quality electricity supply to consumers while maintaining safety and quality standards across all projects.
Pusauli Grid Substation inspected
Following the review meeting, the Energy Secretary inspected the 220/132/33 kV Grid Substation (GSS) at Pusauli.
He reviewed the current operational status of the grid and sought information from officials regarding its functioning. Necessary instructions were issued to ensure efficient operations and proper maintenance of the facility.
Nadokhar power substation inspected
Yadav subsequently visited the Power Substation (PSS) at Nadokhar, where he reviewed the existing electricity supply and transmission arrangements.
During the visit, he also planted a sapling on the substation premises.
ULA scheme reviewed at beneficiary’s home
The Energy Secretary also visited Chilbili village to inspect works being carried out under the ULA (Kutir Jyoti) scheme.
He visited the home of a beneficiary to assess the benefits being provided under the scheme and interacted regarding the electricity connection and services received.
Officials were directed to maintain the quality of work and ensure that eligible consumers receive the benefits of the scheme within the stipulated time.
New Ramkarpur substation inspected
The inspection concluded at the newly constructed Power Substation in Ramkarpur village. Yadav reviewed the arrangements and progress of works at the facility.
He directed officials to ensure quality, safety and timely completion of all remaining works.
The review meeting and field inspections were attended by Kaimur District Magistrate Nitin Kumar Singh, Chief Engineer of SBPDCL Mohammad Rizwan Ahmad, Sasaram Superintending Engineer Indradev Kumar and executive and assistant electrical engineers from Bhabua, Sasaram, Dehri and surrounding areas.
