Themed “Imaging Insights: Learning Through Cases”, the event offered intensive case-based academic sessions covering neuro, trauma, musculoskeletal, abdominal, cardiovascular, gynaecology-obstetrics, and interventional radiology. Delegates also participated in hands-on workshops on basic vascular and non-vascular interventions, as well as a highly regarded film-reading quiz designed for postgraduate students.

The conference featured talks and workshops by leading national radiologists, including Dr Shivanand Gamanagatti, Dr Manisha Jana, Dr Amar Mukund, Dr Sanjeev Kumar, and Dr Anindita Sinha. Senior radiologists from Bihar also shared their expertise during the sessions.

Resident doctors actively engaged in scientific paper presentations, educational exhibits, and quiz competitions, with top performers receiving prizes in recognition of their work.

The inaugural ceremony on December 6 was attended by Chief Guest Prof (Brig) Dr Raju Agarwal, Executive Director of AIIMS Patna, and Guest of Honour Dr Shivanand Gamanagatti, alongside the institute’s Deans, Medical Superintendent, and IRIA Bihar State office-bearers.

Organising Chairman Dr Rajeev N Priyadarshi and Organising Secretary Dr Upasna Sinha led the conference, which received widespread praise for its academic depth and smooth execution.
