Patna: Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday inaugurated The Panache Kautilya Hotel in Patna, marking the opening with a detailed inspection of the newly launched property.
Earlier in the day, the chief minister took part in Saraswati Puja celebrations at the residence of former state chief information commissioner A.K. Sinha in the IAS Colony, where he offered prayers to Goddess Saraswati and wished for peace, prosperity and well-being across Bihar. He later attended another Saraswati Puja ceremony at 10, Strand Road, where he again performed rituals dedicated to the goddess of learning and wisdom.

Nitish Kumar was accompanied by his son, Nishant, during the puja, with the two seen performing the rituals together and interacting at length afterwards.
Extending greetings on the occasion of Basant Panchami and Saraswati Puja, the chief minister conveyed his best wishes to the people of Bihar and the country. Union minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh, water resources minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, principal secretary to the chief minister Deepak Kumar, and secretary to the chief minister Kumar Ravi were among those present during the engagements.
